Alexandre Habre and his wife Renee began their journey in Los Angeles, California, establishing a renowned wholesale jewelry manufacturing company that served hundreds of retailers across the United States.

Alexandre’s passion for fine jewelry started as a part-time bench jeweler while pursuing an engineering degree at UCLA. His dedication led him to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where he became a certified gemologist in 1986. With expertise in manufacturing, diamond grading, and custom design, he built a reputation for crafting exceptional jewelry.

In the early 2000s, the Habre family relocated to Michigan to open their first retail store, expanding their tradition of fine craftsmanship while training the next generation. Today, Sparkles Jewelry continues to manufacture high-quality jewelry in Los Angeles while offering a full range of services, including custom design, appraisals, engraving, and watch repairs.

As a direct diamond importer and a proud member of the Jewelry Board of Trade (JBT), the Retail Jewelers Organization (RJO), and RapNet—the industry’s largest diamond marketplace—Sparkles Jewelry provides access to an extensive selection of diamonds and fine jewelry.
